We use a tiered approach, which is tailored to each early education centre.
At each level, children’s progress is reviewed and evaluated to ensure they are receiving the most appropriate speech and language support.
1. Training, advice and environmental support for staff and parents to learn techniques and approaches to support speech and language development.
2. Delivery of small group sessions for children whose educators and parents have concerns about their speech and language skills. Early intervention supports these children who are at risk of developing further communication difficulties.
3. Parent-paid 1-to-1 speech pathology sessions for children with specific or diagnosed speech and language needs.
